## About

I started as a software engineer. My first product job was at SpotYet, a startup I co-founded, where we took two SaaS products from zero to real customers. I wrote the matching algorithm behind both, and it doubled as my Master's thesis.

Then nearly five years at Amazon, running programs across nine European marketplaces. That's where I learned how a process change plays out at scale. One mechanism I launched cut 9 million customer contacts a year, worth $85M annualized.

Since 2023 I've been co-founder and Chief Growth Officer of Product Circle, formerly Product Weekend. We've run 55 events in 16 countries for more than 1,400 product people. Today I'm also building Gaia Decision Intelligence at GaiaLogic, from its first version.

I live in Milan and work in English, Romanian and Italian.

## Point of view

- **Product managers and leaders should be builders.** With AI, a product manager can turn an idea into a working prototype in an afternoon instead of writing a spec and waiting for a sprint. Every PM and every product leader should be able to do that. It also has a limit. The prototype is where a PM's building stops; taking it to production is engineering's job.
- **If it isn't tied to revenue, it isn't product.** Product exists to make the business money. A roadmap that can't be traced to revenue, retention or cost is a list of opinions. And if product leaders are asked to own outcomes, they should hold the budget that produces them.
- **Teams grow in small rooms.** Product people learn fastest from peers a step ahead of them, in small groups where it's safe to say what isn't working. Frameworks help, but they don't replace honest conversations. It's the idea Product Circle is built on.

## How I help

- **AI-native product operating models**: I work inside your product team to redesign how it plans, builds and measures, with AI and automation at every stage. At Carrefour Romania, lead time per feature went from 12 weeks to 6 in a five-month engagement.
- **Workshops for product teams**: My workshop, AI & Automations for Product Managers, runs online or in person and focuses on the team's everyday product work. Delivered at Swisscom, Flutter International and Carrefour Romania.
- **Speaking**: Talks for product conferences and communities, built around the ideas on this page. Productized 2024, and Product Circle events in Switzerland, Romania, Poland, Serbia, Ireland, Italy and France.
